In the midst of the pandemic, we are all advised to observed social distancing. this is the reason why even churches can not worship in a chapel. It is good that on line worship still connects Christians every Sunday.
For anyone who values relationships this is hard to do. Considering that we know and believe in a relational God- the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, we believe every relationship as a minuscule of the Trnitarian communion. Not that it is just a pattern to emulate but we experience the reality that every relationship here on earth is a participation of that communion. In other words, no loving relationship exists outside of God.
Therefore even in Social distancing, the bond goes beyond the physical handshake, hugs and kisses.
There might be social distancing but there can never be spiritual
distancing. Fellowship is not limited to physical presence. We are in
union with the same Spirit as we participate in the love of the Father
and the Son.
The Church can never be shut down the eternal Spirit flows in the lives of believers every moment.
